We are committed to conserving wildlife and farming in a sustainable way to ensure that we can go on producing food for future generations. Working closely with Natural England and the RSPB, we have set up a project to encourage lapwings back to the lower fields; setting aside field margins for wild flowers and grasses to create a habitat for insects. In doing this we are helping to halt the decline of species such as English partridge, yellow hammer, linnet and yellow wagtail, turtle dove and corn bunting.
